Administration Assistant – Level 3, 37 hours per week, £16,160 – £16856 (actual salary), Term time only

The Governors at St Peters Catholic Academy are looking to appoint a motivated, personable and competentAdministration Assistant. The successful candidate will support the Academy Manager, parents and other colleagues to help create an effective, safe and purposeful learning environment.

Your main responsibilities will be to work with our Academy Manager, supporting the administration needs of pupils and staff. Experience in a school environment is essential.

The successful applicant will be competent with all Microsoft packages.

Key Duties / Responsibilities

Provide administrative, and organisational services to the school

Liaise with pupils, parents/carers

Liaise with other staff and external agencies

Analyse and evaluate data and information and run reports

Undertake word-processing and IT based tasks including operation of relevant equipment

Organise meetings and take notes

Process forms, returns, etc., including those to outside agencies

Contribute to the planning and development of administrative procedures and systems.

Respond to reception and visitor enquiries

Organise arrangements for school visits and events

Assist with producing marketing and promotion material for the school

Any other duties appropriate to the post.

Care Club Supervisor (Temporary) – level 4, 22.5 hours per week, £10,020 – £10,877 actual, Term time only

Required from Monday 7th June 2021 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The Academy wish to appoint a reliable and competent Before and After Club Supervisor.

The successful person must be enthusiastic, a motivated team member with a positive attitude and proven track record. They will have a flexible, friendly and approachable personality and be responsible for the planning and delivery of activities for children aged 3-11 years.

Roles include managing staff to provide a caring, secure environment, through individual attention and group activities, managing the day to day operations of the club and to continue the development a successful and vibrant Before and After school club.

At present the club operates from 7.30am-9.00am and 3.00pm-6.00pm.  Contracted hours 22.5 per week. Term time only. Starting on a temporary contract with the potential of becoming permanent.

The successful candidate will support the Academy Manager, parents and other colleagues to help create an effective, safe and purposeful learning environment.

Your main responsibilities will be to work with our Academy Manager, supporting the administration needs of pupils and staff. Experience in a school environment is essential.

The successful applicant will be competent with all Microsoft packages.

The successful candidate will require the ability to communicate effectively with a wide audience including teaching staff, students and parents, as well as the wider community. A flexible and practical approach, a ‘can do’ attitude and excellent IT skills would also be desirable.
